About Us — Torpey Tags

We’re Steve and Leanne Torpey — the couple behind Torpey Tags and proud grandparents of six.

Leanne is a retired school counselor. Steve is an Environmental Engineer.

We took our first Royal Caribbean cruise in 2006 and have been hooked ever since. Over the years we’ve earned more than 450 Crown & Anchor points and sailed on just about every class of ship. And like every cruiser, we’ve tried all the usual luggage‑tag “solutions”:

• Printing and folding

• Tape and staples

• Plastic sleeves that never quite fit

Eventually Steve said what every cruiser thinks at some point: “There has to be an easier way.”

So we started experimenting — researching materials, testing printers, checking durability, and refining the design until we landed on something we were proud to put our name on.
